I have chosen no to tell anyone who knows Demi (even my husband) about my NCD experiment. Part of me doesn't believe in these "miracle cures" so I don't want them to think I've been "taken in." But part of me believed in the possibility of a natural cure being dismissed by traditional medicine.
But mostly I didn't tell anyone in order to get an objective opinion on Demi's improvement, or lack thereof. If there is a marked change in 4 weeks time, her teachers and therapists should remark to me about how much better she's been doing.
But what if the changes take longer than 4 weeks to materialize? According to the hype about this product, that shouldn't be the case.
We'll see...

Zeolite Day 5
I started my 4yo daughter on NCD at the same time as myself. I'm hoping it will somehow help with her delays, primarily with speech, but generally all over. So far, I've only noticed negatives:
1) The cold she's had over 2 weeks still has not gone away.
2) She had a nasty case (hopefully isolated) of constipation yesterday.
3) Because of the extra fluid she's been drinking with NCD (or maybe the flushing tendency of NCD) , she had two accidents over the weekend.
I'll give it the full 30 days before making a call. I know where that 100% guarantee is in writing. ;)

Zeolite Day 4
Yesterday was Day 4 on Natural Cellular Defense (NCD). I started noticing yesterday that I'm not as hungry as usual. I was surprised. Food just doesn't have the same taste. Or maybe it's just not as appealing because my appetite is not as keen. My appetite is still quite healthy, just not abnormally strong (in my opinion) like it has been lately.
I also seemed to have more stamina on my run today. I have a long way to go to get back in shape, but lately running seemed to be getting harder rather than easier. I gave up attempting to run with the jog stroller altogether (after previously giving up trying to run with both kids in the double jogger) (which tells you why I'm so terribly out of shape!). But lately I've been walking during my short runs and I haven't attempted any long ones. Today, I was able to complete my 4 mile loop without walking and I didn't feel strained at all. Perhaps the bright blue sky and promise of coming spring spurred me on.
Time will tell. The jury's still out.
